Moon Radio
Moon Radio is the otherworldly musical collaboration of Julia Haltigan and multi-instrumentalist Yusuke Yamamoto. Blending floating vocals, dreamy electric vibraphone, vintage electronics and a touch of exotica, the duo creates a sound suspended somewhere between atomic-age nostalgia and futuristic longing. Part band, part imaginary universe, Moon Radio brings its strange and beautiful world to life through music, theatrical performance, surreal imagery and playful encounters with the unexpected.
Julia Haltigan solo work
Born and raised in the unruly creative world of downtown New York, Julia Haltigan makes music that moves between smoky rock and roll, cinematic Americana and minimalist electronic experimentation. Across six albums, her restless curiosity has taken her from gritty guitar-driven anthems to haunting, atmospheric soundscapes, all anchored by her distinctive, smoldering vocals and vivid storytelling. Equal parts grit, glamour and vulnerability, her music is a shape-shifting reflection of the city that raised her.
